Letter to the Hon. Ernest Lapointe from Clementina Sauro
Letter to the Hon. Ernest Lapointe from Clementina Sauro on behalf of her husband Rev. Libero Sauro. Libero Sauro was arrested by the RCMP and detained in the barracks of the Veteran Home Guard on Lansdowne St. in Toronto in September 1940. In her letter Clementina states that she is aware that her husband has the privilege of objecting to his detention within 30 days of his arrest but has not been given such privilege. She is also inquiring to find out the specific charges that have been laid against him.
