Round-up of Italian Canadian men in Windsor, ON
Black and white photograph of a line-up of Italian Canadian men. Two police officers are pictured observing the men. The men are line-up outside and appear to be walking into a building, perhaps the local jail. A police vehicle can be seen at the far left. On June 10, 1940 the Windsor Police raided local Italian Canadian establishments and arrested a number of men of Italian heritage. Thirty-five men from Windsor were eventually interned. This photograph is a duplicate of LDICEA2011.0002.0016.
