Montana Hotel, Rossland Avenue, Trail, BC
Black and white photograph of the Montana Hotel which was located on Rossland Avenue in the "Gulch" area of Trail, BC. The hotel was built by Italian immigrant Isaco Georgetti in 1902 and ran the hotel until 1913 when he sold it to August Mueller. During its heyday the hotel was a popular hangout for smelter workers. The hotel was destroyed by a fire in 1990.
